It is sad to report that Stan Johnstone, CTTA Life Member, passed away Friday 18th October 2013.  He had been in hospital for almost 7 weeks. Our thoughts go to his family.

Dave won the Veteran Singles against 2nd seed Gordon Shaw.

The final was a nip & tuck affair with Dennis narrowly claiming the title 11-9 in the final set.

The AGM of the Gloucestershire TTA will be held at The Royal William, Cranham on Tuesday 4 June at 7.30pm.  All players and officials are welcome to come along and express their views about all table tennis issues.  It would be fantastic to see a good turn out this year.

I would like to thank all the team managers and players for their co-operation and good sportsmanship.  There was never an issue with anyone umpiring and the conduct on the table was excellent.

The Gloucestershire 2* is being run by Gloucestershire TTA as a replacement for the Cotswold 4*.  The first event starts at 9.30am and the event is scheduled to finish at 5.30pm.

The Boys U19 had just two entrants but the match was a thriller with Sam Turner (Gloucester) just edging out Sam Warner (Cheltenham) in 5 very close games.
